We took a trip out to the bird sanctuary since the weather was so beautiful this morning. We had a great time feeding the ducks, geese, and swans. It was right up the kids' alley because they always want to throw the dogs' food at them and have them eat it all up. (This is not cute.)
Evie was more interested in finding lots of rocks and digging in the dirt. Every time she found a new one, she made sure that both brother and I commented on it.
"Mama! Rock! Lookit!"
"Bruh-bro...rock! Rooooooock!"
By the end I was pleading with J to, for the love of God, please just look at her rock and tell her it's cool. He took pity on me and did, every time. He's such a good big brother.
On our way out, Julian held my hand and said, "I had a really fun time the Atuary. Didn't you Mama?"
Yep, I did.
