The Christmas Post

I've been waiting for inspiration to strike to eloquently sum up our beautiful family Christmas.

It hasn't come.

So let me just say...it was so stinkin' great. (Eloquent, no?)

This was the first year (ever?) that our parties were perfectly timed. No rushing at one to get to the next or worrying about the kids missing naps. We had two wonderful days of Christmas, with parties each morning and evening.

We had so much fun, ate amazing food, and got to spend time with all our (Michigan) loved ones. Of course, the kids were spoiled rotten and we are having a blast with all the new toys.

We took the kids to the park downtown to play in the lights and music. They loved it. OK, we all did.

Nobody was afraid of Santa this year. Julian cracked him up when he told him what he really wanted for Christmas was a vacation.
Only one kid looking in each pic. Oh well.

But the best part was the prizes Santa gave out...stick-on mustaches!
Priceless.

The kids were really helpful opening everyone's gifts this year.

She didn't think this photo op was as cute as we did. I think the food in her teeth is a nice touch.

Merry Christmas!
